Hannelore Perry, 91, of Long Branch passed away home surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, May 29, 2022. Born in Wertheim Germany, Hannelore has lived most of her life in Long Branch. She retired in 1986 from Artlin Mills, Long Branch where she was a seamstress. Once retired she took on the loving role of being “Super Nanna”. She had a passion for gardening, crocheting and cooking German food. Hannelore is predeceased by her husband of 65 years James Perry, a son, James Perry Jr., and daughters, Cecilia Wheeler and Ethel Mendoza. She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Perry Sims and Odessa Perry and her husband David, granddaughter, Carmen Rosado, great grandchildren, Laura, Courtney, Desirae, Erika, Bryan, Jordan, Taylor, Kyle and Linzy, great great grandchildren Jahki, Layla, Michayle, Aiyana, Jordan Jr and Catalina. Also surviving are a host of family and friends. The family requests that anyone attending the services that is unvaccinated to kindly wear a mask. In lieu of flowers donations in Hannelore’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association at https://act.alz.org/donate would be greatly appreciated. A visitation will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 415 Broadway, Long Branch on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 9::30am until the time of the funeral service at 10:30am. Entombment will follow in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
