Biography:
Antoinette (Toni) Lempka (nee Marks), 89, a lifelong resident of Long Branchpassed away peacefully on Saturday, December 1 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. “Toni” lived in a bungalow on Laird Street, one of the first streets affected by the redevelopment project for Pier Village. It was not easy for her to move on, but she did. She enjoyed many years of good health, but time and age took their toll.
The caring staff at Jersey Shore Center, Eatontown are to be commended for taking such wonderful care of her. She was an accomplished seamstress and was employed by various clothing manufacturers in the area. Her love of fashion and sewing led her to create beautiful dresses for herself, her children and their many dolls. She was a communicant of Our Lady Star Of The Sea R.C. Church, Long Branch. Toni was predeceased by her husband, James;and her daughter, Donna Nazimek. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Guire; granddaughter, Erin and her husband Keith Ackerman; her sister, Angie Antonelli; and her son-in-law, Stanley Nazimek. Visitation will be on Tuesday December 4th from 3-7pm at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 415 Broadway, Long Branch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Wednesday, December 5th at Our Lady Star Of The Sea R.C. Church, of Christ The King Parish, Long Branch. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch
